Sea Breeze Harmony Chorus is a performing women’s chorus singing a cappella, four-part harmony in the barbershop style. Our chorus chartered in 2001 as a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, becoming one of more than 600 chapters around the globe. With approximately 23,000 members, Sweet Adelines International is the largest women’s singing organization in the world.
Our chorus performs throughout the year for private and public events. We are an active group that sings for assisted-living residences, festivals, parties, fundraisers, dinners, holiday events — you name it! Sea Breeze Harmony Chorus competes at the regional level which helps us focus on refining our singing and performing abilities. We also sing for our own enjoyment, emphasizing fun, friendship, and four-part harmony.
Membership in Sea Breeze Harmony Chorus provides friendships with other singers as well as a myriad of opportunities to learn and grow both personally and musically. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 6:15-8:30 p.m. at the Bay Area Senior Activity Center, 886 South Fourth St. (at Ingersoll), Coos Bay, OR 97420. Visitors are always welcome! Come share an evening of music and fun!
